A3094 Road Works

The A3094 Netherhampton Road will be closed for resurfacing works from Monday 13th February to Friday 24th February. The extent of the works is from the A36 junction all the way round to the junction with Upper Street in Harnham. According to the Valley News, the closure will apply between 7am to 6pm daily.

During this time, access to the section of road affected will be severely limited. There is a diversion route in place, going through Salisbury and Harnham via the A36-A30-A338-A3094 (and vice versa). Further details are provided below (NB this represents what we know at present and is subject to change).

Vehicular Access

The A3094 is closed to traffic except for access.

There will be no right turn from the A36 onto the A3094 for the duration of the works.

To get out of Quidhampton and onto the A36, use Skew Road or Footshill Road. There will be no access to the A36 from the A3094; right turn out of Lower Road will be to access the houses on the A3094 only.

Buses

There will also be disruption to the bus services coming through the village.

Only the following buses will be able to come through Quidhampton village and will only be able to pick up at the bus stop at the “The Alders” (near the bottom of Foots Hill). Services using larger buses will not be able to get down Footshill Road; these services will not be running as shown below:
